SO FAR SO CLOSE
BAYONA STUDIO
OLOT
"So Far, So Close" is a project exploring the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on social interactions and spatial organization. Instead of viewing physical distancing as a barrier, the project sees it as an opportunity to foster empathy and social cohesion. Through mobile sound mirrors placed in public spaces, it creates playful interactive experiences—like a giant telephone game, a concert with spatialized audio, or whispering a secret from 20 meters away.
The project reimagines social distancing as a tool for connection rather than isolation.
